Things I Have Learned Being an Entrepreneur

In the past year, so many changes happened in the world of entrepreneurs and it made me think about my life as an entrepreneur.

The past three years running Seababy has taught me so so much. But to be completely transparent with you, the biggest thing it has done for me it bring me closer to Jesus. The two main things God has taught me through this journey is this:

1. Life is about relationships, not profit or numbers.

When it comes to my life or business, it is built around relationships - because that is what Jesus did (read Matthew, Mark, Luke or John.) Profits or numbers don't matter once you are gone. For me, every interaction I have in my business should share the love of Christ. Even if it is a simple reply from my story or telling a customer how thankful I am for their order. The reason I do it is Jesus.

2. God is faithful. He will always come through for His children. He never lets you down.

These past few months, God taught me His faithfulness like never before. Some days and even still - I wake up and say "Alright God, I need X amount of dollars to pay the bills" and every single dang time He made a way. May not be the way I would have wanted, but He made a way. Because I am His daughter and He loves me that much.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Folks, the love of Christ is unreal. It is a beautiful thing that words cannot ever explain. It has transformed my life and the way I view my business. If you have any questions or are just completely lost by this post just email me (aloha@seababyclothing.com) - seriously, send me it all. The good. The bad. The ugly.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.

Moriah
